Old Fashioned Coffee

  • coffee
  • cheesecloth
  • thin string
Preparation:
Place enough coffee, for the pot you’re using, into a square of cheesecloth. Make sure the cheesecloth is large enough to tie up with the string. Place this into a pot with cold water, and place the coffee pot on the stove . When steam rises from the coffee pot, the coffee is hot and ready. For those of you who don’t like instant, this tastes like percolated coffee. Add egg shells if you have some. It takes away some of the bitter taste.
